Executive Director Job Description
The Charter Schools Association of Nevada (CSAN) is a nonprofit membership and professional organization established to support and expand the number of high-quality public charter schools available to all families in Nevada.
The Nevada charter school sector is well established and growing. The sector is also incredibly diverse not only in the student populations it serves, but in the innovative independent schools and school networks operating in Nevada.
The board of CSAN is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead the organization as it expands its capacity and impact on behalf of students, schools, and families. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive
strategy to strengthen Nevada’s charter school sector through policy advocacy, school support, community engagement, and coalition building. This leader will understand the complex diversity of the Nevada charter sector, and lead a strategy that meets the unique needs of all schools, especially the independent, single site charter schools that play such a critical role in Nevada’s education landscape.
