April 2026 Newsletter
The April 1, 2026 CSAN newsletter highlights strong momentum across advocacy, engagement, and sector alignment following a successful State of the Sector event that brought together leaders and policymakers to reinforce priorities such as funding equity, facilities, and reducing regulatory burdens. CSAN expanded collaboration through new task forces and increased outreach, engaging 41 schools, while also prioritizing advocacy efforts around the Commission on School Funding, particularly protecting charter school reserve flexibility. Looking ahead, CSAN plans to deepen member engagement through statewide calls, continued task force work, and policymaker outreach, alongside strengthened communications efforts with Western Public Affairs to elevate the charter sector’s impact. The newsletter also includes calls to action for member involvement, federal advocacy support for the FLEX Act, leadership development opportunities, and highlights of sector growth, policy developments, and student success stories across Nevada.
